About Bee Venom

Bee Venom, really? Yep, Exactly, the venom that's stored in the bee's stinger.

Despite being called ""Venom"", it's actually beneficial. The mechanism of bee venom in skincare products is that it ‘fools’ the skin into thinking you’ve been stung, thus increases blood flow to the area, bringing fresh oxygen and nutrients, stimulating collagen and elastin production.

But don’t worry, you won't need to be stung by bees to benefit. A bee dies after stinging, which is harmful to the bee community, and bee venom in skincare products is usually collected from bees and then blended with other active ingredients.

Other than boosting collagen, the venom's main active compound ""melittin"", is effective in antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. Not only could it reduce levels of acne bacteria on the skin, it can also tackle the inflammation caused by acne.

There's precaution while using products with bee venom. While it's normal to feel slightly stingy right after applying, you should also avoid applying on eye surroundings, nostril, and mouth. After finishing the treatment, it's recommended to wash your face with water of 40-50°C to fully remove the remaining bee venom. If you are allergic to bee venom, stop using it.

1. Unfold mask and remove backing. Place mask onto clean, dry skin. Go for it - it will look lovely on you!

2. Gently press edges and pat mask until it fully adheres to your pretty face.

3. Turn off the phone and close your eyes for 20 minutes. Daydream about being queen.
